GENERAL INFORMATION

Prices, availability and specifications are subject to change without notice. We reserve the right to alter specifications and details without notice to conform to regulations, availability or to improve design. Merchandise is made to order and not stocked. Dimensions and freight weights listed in this catalog are approximations.

TERMS

We require a 50% deposit prior to production and, generally, the balance before shipping. (Contact our credit department regarding your terms) To avoid delays, new accounts should submit written credit applications. Verbal orders are not accepted. Delinquent accounts shall accrue interest at the rate of 1.5% per month until paid.

F.O.B. POINT

Unless indicated, Factory dock, Gardena, California

FREIGHT

All orders are shipped either freight collect or third party billed. Orders requiring prepaid freight, if accepted, are subject to a handling charge. As freight quotes are estimated, Customer, not Coronet will not be liable for differences between estimated freight quotes and actual costs.

MINIMUM ORDERS

All prices are predicated upon quantities ordered.

LEAD TIME

Lead time commences upon approval of credit or receipt of deposit. As all lamps are made to order, we schedule our production priorities based on date of order. We encourage customers to order early. Although our shipping history is excellent, we will assume absolutely no liability for damages incurred by customer in the event Coronet ships later than the date requested by the customer or a date quoted by Coronet.

EXPEDITING CHARGE

We will try to accommodate “rush” orders without incurring additional costs or at the expense of older orders. We do, however, reserve the right to add a “rush” charge to cover overtime labor and extra handling.

A 50% deposit will be required on all orders before manufacturing begins. Due to all products being custom made, it is advisable to order additional quantities, as replacement components may not be available at a later date. Replacement orders may be at substantially higher prices.

CHANGES

If any changes to orders prior to production are requested, the quoted prices are subject to revision. Once production begins the deposit becomes non-refundable. Production begins once parts are ordered or internal production has started.

STORAGE

If a customer requested a delay of a shipping date on an order already in production, the order will be invoiced immediately upon completion. The invoice must be paid per terms as if order shipped on original date. In addition, there may be a storage charge equal to 5% of the invoice amount per week until shipped, which must be paid before shipping.

CLAIMS

All products are inspected a number of times throughout the production process before shipping. At this point, title passes to the customer. Claims for damage or loss must be placed by you with the carrier (within 7 days of receipt of merchandise) at the point of destination and not with Coronet. Please inspect all merchandise immediately. Delivery must be accepted even if there is visible or concealed damage to cartons or if there are shortages. Be sure to note any damages or shortages on delivery receipt. Carrier is responsible for goods damaged or lost in transit.

RETURNS

We will not accept returns for credit. Returns for repair will not be accepted without a written Return Authorization issued by the factory. Unauthorized returns will not be accepted.

WARRANTY

Coronet Lighting warrants that its products are free of defects in workmanship and materials. Such warranty is in lieu of all other warranties including, without limitation, any implied warranties or merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. Coronet, at its sole option, will repair or replace (F.O.B. shipping point) any Coronet product defective in workmanship or materials. Such repair or replacement is the sole and exclusive remedy against Coronet and is limited to 90 days from the date of shipment. Coronet reserves the right to determine whether to repair or replace. No chargeback or charge for labor or material that doesn’t have Coronet’s prior written approval will be honored, accepted, or paid by Coronet. Coronet will not be responsible for any consequential or incidental damages in connection with any breach of its aforementioned warranty. Coronet reserves the right to have, at its cost, the defective merchandise returned from the customer. Coronet reserves the right to charge the customer for its failure to return defective merchandise if so requested by Coronet.
